Acai bowls are all the rage these days- and for good reason! They’re such a great way to get some fruit into your diet and are so customizable that everyone can find one they like. Here’s a starter recipe for the acai base- feel free to add in anything you enjoy!
Acai Bowl
1 packet frozen acai berry
2-3 frozen, peeled bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries, raspberries or blackberries
2 pitted dates
1 cup +/- water
Toppings
Grain free granola
Freeze dried strawberries
Almond butter
Dried coconut flakes
Bee pollen
In a blender (we love our Vitamix) combine the frozen bananas, acai packet, frozen berries, dates and water and blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with your toppings of choice. Enjoy!
